Should I get a hair diffuser?

So I have wavy hair. Not curl at ally, just fairly long and wavy. I mostly straighten it or curl it. But when I let it dry naturally I have a nice little beach wave. If I want it look a little more polished over "I just got out of the shower" should I dry it with a diffuser?
