Lighting for Macro Photography ?

There are books devoted to this subject. So, lots of ways to do it. You may want to try moving your flash off the camera with a cord onto a bracket that holds it at 45degrees to the subject and add a white reflector on the other side of the subject for a change up in the lighting.
