DIY Co2 System! Question!!!?

Hi, i have a 2L bottle connected to a bubbler counter to a check valve. I was planing to use the chopstick diffuser method. But the main problem is i have a bubbler/air pump to oxygenate my water. Can i have these both together? Or will the bubbler release the Co2? Thanks in advance.
